Irish Polling Indicator: New Layout and Data

The Irish Polling Indicator website and data repositories have been updated. Following the release of four polls since the general election on 29 November 2024, we have adjusted the code, graphs, and back-end for the new electoral cycle. In particular, we now classify Independent Ireland as a separate party rather than merging it with “Independent/Others”. All time-series graphs now begin on 29 November 2024.

We have also updated the replication data and code repositories. A new stable version has been uploaded to Harvard Dataverse, containing daily estimates from 1987 to the 2024 general election, as well as all polling results from 1983 to 2024.
